Social action opportunities are announced in the Kehila newsletter and via e-mails. For 2018-2019, they include:
- Social Advocacy
- Social Advocacy. Advocating for those in need, through education and support for social policy and legislative efforts at the local, state, and national levels.
- Volunteer Opportunities
- Shepherd's Table. Volunteering to serve dinner for the homeless once a month.
- Interfaith Clothing Center. Volunteering once a month to help organize clothing and other goods offered to qualifying area families without charge.
- Aid to Refugee Families. Donating home furnishing and setting up an apartment for a refugee family.
