Maryland--Action needed on state minimum wage bill

This Friday, the Maryland House of Delegates will be holding a hearing on legislation to raise the minimum wage across the state (HB166). If you support the idea that every worker in Maryland deserves at least $15 per hour, it’s important that you let your delegates know before Friday’s hearing.

Jews United for Justice (JUFJ) has made it easy to find your delegates names and their contact information at:  https://jufj.org/delegates-ff15/  A sample script is available as well as information about joining JUFJ at the hearing.

The hearing is Friday, February 08, 2019 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM in the Lowes House Office Building, 6 Bladen St, Annapolis, MD 21401, Economic Matters Room: 230. If you are interested in attending and would like to arrange a carpool, you can let me know, and I will put people in contact with one another. di.garfield@gmail.com or 301-816-9172
