Accounts are available to Kehila Chadasha members and families with children enrolled in our Sunday School. If you are a member or school family, and don't have an account, use the form on the Contact Us page to ask for one to be created.

We’re sorry, but accounts are not available if you are not a member or school family. However, some of the content on this website is available to visitors who are not members or school families. We hope you enjoy using our site.

[Note: if you are already logged in, click on My Account at the top of the page to reach your account page. Your Username will appear in Red under the site banner.]

All Usernames assigned to Kehila members and school families consist of firstname.lastname (i.e., hazel.becker).

If none of the variations on your first and last name work, please click on Contact Us at the top and use the form at the bottom of that page to let us know. If we have already created your login, we’ll send you the correct Username. If not, we’ll create one for you. You’ll receive a notice when it’s ready.

We don't have access to your password, so we can't help you with that. But - you can reset it yourself.

First things first - make sure you are entering it correctly. Passwords are case-sensitive - if you used capital letters or lower case letters when you created it, you need to use the same case every time you log in.

If changing the case doesn't work, you will need to request a new password. The system handles it automatically - you don't need to have anyone look it up for you.

  1. First - make sure you are logged in. If it says "Logout" in the upper right corner of the site, you are online and you can follow these instructions. If it says "Login" you need to click Login, and then enter your username and password.
  2. Click on <My Account> at the top of any page to go to your User Account page.
  3. At the top of your Account page, click on the <Edit> tab.
  4. Enter your new password, in both the <Password> and <Confirm password> boxes.
  5. When the two passwords match, click <Save> at the bottom of the page.

Note: Our  system will tell you how to choose the most secure password and what level of security you have achieved (low, medium or high). Please choose a password that brings you up at least to Medium security. Also, you will be required to make the <Password> and <Confirm password> boxes match in order to save the page.

  1. Click on <Login> (in the upper right corner of the screen) to get the <User Account> screen.
  2. Go to the tab labeled <Request new password>.
  3. Enter your Username (not your email address) and then click <E-mail new password>. We will automatically (and immediately) send you an email with instructions about changing your password, and you will receive it as soon as your email account processes incoming mail.
  4. The email you receive will include a link that will allow you to log in one time to change your password.

If you followed the steps for requesting a new password but did not receive an email after a reasonable amount of time (a few hours), please send us an email using the form at the bottom of the Contact Us page so that we can check to make sure we have your correct email address.

There are two good ways to find people – through a list of Kehila Families, and through a list of Kehila People. Both of these lists can be accessed by putting your cursor over the Membership Resources button.

If you don’t know what family name someone is listed under, look for the individual’s name in the list of Kehila People. To find the names of other people in someone’s family, click on the family name on the individual’s page.

You need to be logged on (as a member or a school family) to see information in Kehila's online directory.

Each dues-paying unit or school family has a Family page, and each member of the family has a separate People page.

  • The family name, address, home phone, and family email (if they have one) are stored on the Family pages. The website also displays this same information on each family member’s People page.
  • Individuals’ cell phone numbers and personal email addresses are stored on People pages. The website also displays this information in a list of family members on the Family page.

Lists of Kehila member families and people are available to members who are logged on. Then, mouse over Membership Resources to find them.

A list of all Kehila school families and school class rosters are available to all members and families with students in the school. Mouse over Sunday School, then Hebrew School, and then School Directory or Class Lists to find them.

Go to the website page that shows your Family Name at the top. Click the Edit tab to the right.

The Title field near the top of the Edit form contains your Family Name. Once you change it in that field, it will be changed on all your family records.

Scroll to the bottom and click Save.

In the print directory, some families listed a family email address while others listed only individuals’ emails. When we uploaded the directory, we put this information in separate fields – one to go on the Family page, and one to go on the People page. However, since most families didn’t list a group email address, we added the email of one adult family member to each family’s page.

If you don’t want your personal email address to show up on the Kehila Families list, or if you want to change it to the address of another family member, go to your Family page and click Edit. Scroll down to the Family Email field and edit it there. Scroll to the bottom and click Save.

You can upload a photo of yourself to the site. It must be at most 150 x 150 pixels, in a .png, .gif, .jpg, or .jpeg file no bigger than 30K.

To get started, click the Edit tab to the right of your name. On the Edit screen, below the First Name and Last Name fields, you will find the My Photo: field. Click the Browse button to bring up a directory of your computer’s files.

Find the photo you want to upload and select it. The file name and its location will appear in the box to the left of the Browse button. Click Upload.

Now you should see your photo on the edit screen. Enter your name in the Alternate Text and Title fields to its right. Scroll to the bottom and click Save.

There is a separate directory for the Kehila Sunday School - you'll find it at http://www.e-kehila.org/school_directory. This directory includes all families with children enrolled in the Kehila school.

To find a list of the children in the school, go to http://www.e-kehila.org/school_class. This listing can be filtered to show only the students in a class - select the class name and then clicking Apply. If you want to include students in more than one class, click one class name and then hold down the Control (Windows) or Command (Mac) key while you select others. Then click Apply.
