Back at B-CC!
9:15 - Morning program
10:00 - Classes begin - younger kids only
10:30 - Intergenerational Program: What it means to be an Immigrant.
All Kehila members are encouraged to attend the community-wide inter-generational program, which will be the adult education offering for this date. Our older students will join the adults for activities in both large and small groups. We will focus on the topic of what it means to be an immigrant, looking at the Passover story, the Jewish imperative “Welcome the stranger” as well as more contemporary examples of immigrants and asylum seekers.
Don’t miss this special community-wide event, a chance to meet and interact with newer members, and engage in a robust exploration of many aspects of the past and present of immigration, impacting not only Jews, but many others peoples across time and geography! Questions? Feel free to contact members of the Intergenerational Committee: Laureen Kapin, Rosana Azar, Rav Laurie Green, Lisa Weiss, Franca Posner.
PLEASE NOTE: Younger children will attend their classes as usual.
